Decorative & Fine Arts Society
We are a lively and welcoming group
to promote the knowledge, appreciation and care of the decorative and
through talks, study groups, guided tours, visits to private houses,
exhibitions and other places of interest to members of the Society. In
addition, we are committed to promoting the arts to young people
school-based project work.
As an affiliated NADFAS
Society we enjoy all the benefits of a national arts group, which
high quality quarterly journal, access to study days, foreign travel
with experts across the whole spectrum of the arts.
Currently, we have vacancies
for new members at both our afternoon and evening meetings. The annual
membership fee is £45.00 with a one-off joining fee of £10. Guests and
members of the public are welcome at our talks and attendance is free.
However, a gift by way of a voluntary donation to the Society as a
contribution towards its operating costs would be appreciated. There is

We meet in the superb auditorium of the Cranleigh Arts
its raked seating and state of the art sound and projection systems.

regularly on the fourth Wednesday of each month except in August and
December. We have two identical meetings on the same day which gives
flexibility should they be unable to attend their usual session.
meetings begin at 2.00pm and evening meetings at 7.30pm.
In addition to
monthly talks, we arrange day visits to
places of interest. These are generally by coach leaving from Stocklund
Square. These are very popular with our members and are booked on a
first come first served basis. We also offer occasional group holidays
arts-related theme, usually organised through specialist tour operators
